It's raining, it's pouring

It's raining cats and dogs... or ladybugs, frogs and firemen!!! The weather has rain in the forecast for the next week or so, be sure to come and grab your little one a raincoat and umbrella. Nothing is cuter then a toddler playing in the rain, but for mommy's sake, it's more fun if that toddler isn't soaking wet. That's where Kidorable comes in... they make your little one look adorable while you are keeping them dry.

Our new shipment of Under the Nile has just arrived. All organic items for baby. Anything from their super cozy bunting bags (gowns) to their blankie buddies... it's all so cute and all organic. We, at Bassinets and Blueberries, have been interested in organic for a while now, but have seen so many of our favorite companies start to provide products in this category (i.e. Kissy Kissy, Coccoli, Toni Tierney and more). We have an entire rack dedicated to organic clothing, accessories and toys. Venture into the store soon to get first pick of some of the adorable products.

Introducing the Bassinets and Blueberries Blog

We want to say hello to all of you who have decided to take a look at our blog. We thought this would be a fun way to feature what is new and exciting in the world of Bassinets and Blueberries. We have all become aware of how the Internet has provided convenience to our lives, but planning a day to go out and shop at local boutiques is part of the advantage we have to where we live. Yes, it is necessary to shop at Target and Babies R Us, we all do, but it is so special to arrive to a baby shower or a sip-and-see with a super special gift that you found from your favorite baby store. Introducing the "mom-to-be" to the uniqueness and quality that you so love yourself.

That is where we come in... our store is full of speciality items... fine-quality clothes, personalized gifts, hand-made lovies, custom-made breastfeeding pillows, unique toys, all the special items that "mom" may not buy herself, but dreams of getting. While our new website is in the works we didn't want to delay any longer with getting on the web, so this is our way to feature what has recently arrived at Bassinets and Blueberries, or just a way to introduce you to some of our favorite "staples."

Along with the fun of getting out in the area and physically shopping, comes the pleasure of receiving great customer service. We strive to provide this to all of our customers, many of who we over the years can now call friends. We take pride in all the products we sell, we educate ourselves on the advantages they provide a mom and best of all we can have your gift all wrapped up in our signature packaging so you can go straight to your destination prepared.
